About Me
My Story
My journey into psychotherapy began with a personal history shaped by the unresolved traumas of a tense and challenging upbringing. Like many, I carried forward pain that wasn’t addressed, unknowingly allowing it to influence my relationships and self-perception. It wasn’t until I took a deep look at the first chapter of my life that I began to understand how limiting beliefs had interfered with my ability to thrive, connect meaningfully with others, and fully self-actualize.
These formative experiences sparked a deep fascination with human psychology and shaped my ability to quickly understand and connect with others on a profound level. While medical tests can detect physical ailments with precision, the art and science of psychotherapy are far more nuanced. People are complex, and no two individuals respond to life’s challenges in exactly the same way. This understanding has guided my practice, helping me tailor my approach to each unique person I work with.
I began my professional career working with families across New Jersey to address an extensive range of mental health challenges, mood disorders, and family dynamics. Over time, I transitioned to one-on-one therapy and life coaching, where I have helped countless clients navigate issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar I and II disorders, borderline personality disorder, and adjustment challenges. I also support clients grappling with existential concerns and the desire to build a more fulfilling life.
My approach is rooted in helping you uncover the strength within what you may have once considered weaknesses. Together, we will explore the wisdom and growth hidden within even the most painful experiences. I will guide you in letting go of the past and building a life that aligns with your goals and values. Whether you're seeking clarity, emotional healing, or a way to overcome the obstacles holding you back, I am here to help you reclaim your life and create the future you deserve.
